ABOUT US

We are a group of professionals living and working in the Toledo area - who want to meet new people through social/leisure activities. Our goal is to support the local economy by partnering with establishments in our own back yard. We are taking a tour of Toledo, and inviting others along for the ride!

Pollyball Tournmant


WPLT is being sponsored for one or possibly two Pollyball Teams and we need participants!
Pollyball is an annual fundraiser to raise money to provide education and emotional and psychological support for families dealing with cancer.

Anyone who is not a player can sit in the sidelines and cheer the others on. We will have team T-Shirts and the event provides music, team photos, food, and beer.
Come out and play or just come and support our team.

PAST EVENTS:

Everyone is raving about the success of the June event at Toledo Yacht Club. Great DJ's, delicious food, and a perfect summer atmosphere to enjoy eachothers company, sit by the pool or the river, and have fun.
The May event at The Toledo Club was a success. The Toledo club proved to be a beautiful and luxurious atmosphere to spread out in comfort and class, while enjoing cocktails and and meeting new people.
The April 2009 event held at Tango's Cantina on the ricver. We had Salsa lessons , and a live D.J. We had a great turnout! Thank you to Raymond and Tony!

Our March 2009 event was hels at the Derby Village Condominiums. It was a great chance to get to know our fellow members in this upscale, and more intimate setting. Thanks to Cathy mmith for spearheading this one.

Harold Jaffe Jewelers was kind enough to open their doors to WPLT in April. 60+ people attended the event. Thank you to Jeff and his staff for a lovely event.

20 NORTH GALLERY/THE ART OF WINE: March 2008
The March 27th event was another success! The crowd enjoyed sipping vino, while meeting new people - and viewing the latest gallery show. Thanks to Eric, and his team. We appreciate the hospitality.

Gianno's, at The Inn: February 2008:
Many new faces came in support of WPLT. The event was a success, and we appreciate be hosted by such a warm bunch of people.

DIVA! Who would have thought a little holiday party would have gone off with such a BANG! Great event. Great turn-out... and the start of some great times to come.

2008/2009 FALL & WINTER EVENTS

WPLT wrapped up the year with a Holiday Gathering at the Hilton Toledo, in the 31 Hundred Lounge. We had a great crowd, and partnered with Toys for Tots! Thanks to the Hilton, and everyone involved for helping... with yet another successful event.

OctoberFest at Cricket West happened on Oct. 23rd... at Calvino's GOT WINE, followed by Fusion Liquid Lounge. There were many new faces... Thanks to Fred and Jamie for hosting us!
